The GINGINAT Concept
Microencapsulation technologies are widely developed in cosmetic and pharmacological research. This field of investigation is however quite new and many applications are still to be developed and validated.
The Foundation supports the developement of these new technologies for oral or dermatological applications, combining essentials oils and high-tech microencapsulation for an in depth treatment of soft tissues, both in human and veterinarian medicine. This field of developement is wide and is actually divided in 2 prototypes: the GingiNat concept (for oral care) and the D.Mk01 project (for skin disorders). These high-tech products lead to a slow release of natural active principles in the wounded tissues, and promote a long-term synergy of beneficial effects, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxydant, buffer, antiseptic and finally healing effects.
Starting from the actual researches, many prototypes should be developed and validated in the coming years.
