The LoB5 Foundation is recognized as a general interest organism under French law. This status allows the Foundation to receive donations and fundings from individuals, institutions or companies.
The purpose of the Foundation is to use these financial resources to support and promote innovative research projects, particularly in the biomedical fields. Several long-term projects developed by the Foundation are funded permanently, but the Foundation also offers some grants to fund specific projects of great interest and relevance for a maximum period of 3 years with a yearly evaluation of the project.
